We currently offer the following one-day workshops. These are not run as open classes, but will be tailored for your business.

Budgeting and Financial Forecasting Workshop

During the day we discuss the variety of approaches which businesses may take to develop budgets for the future, and the pros and cons of each.

The major part of the day introduces the concept of an Integrated Approach to budgeting. This leads into an interactive session in which the first steps to producing your own budget are taken.

We round up the day discussing what should happen once the budget has been finalised.

You will leave the workshop with an agreed action plan of the next steps to take.

Who should attend?
To gain maximum benefit from the day, this workshop should be attended by the Members of the Management Team who will be responsible for budgets.

Management Information Workshop

In this workshop, we begin by gaining an understanding of what Management Information (MI) is, and considering what MI is currently produced / utilised in your business.

Throughout the day we will build up an interactive case study which illustrates the sorts of information a company may find useful to measure and monitor, and how this would be used for operational and strategic decision making.

One important concept which is introduced is that MI is not purely financial. Quality MI will include non-financial measures to monitor performance of all areas of the business.

We also explore the concept that the availability and quality of Management Information relies upon the right data being recorded.

You will leave the workshop with an agreed action plan of the next steps to take to develop quality Management Information in your business.
