If information received is not tangible and influential on how to drive the business forward then it is not management information.

Our role is to help you to develop a weekly/monthly structured reporting system that will help you and the rest of your team to focus on your key performance indicators which will ensure that you keep your business goals to the fore at all times.

SAGE ACCOUNTANT PARTNER

Direct Business Advice Ltd has a team dedicated to helping you to be in control of your finances. The team is headed up by a Chartered Accountant, who in common with all of our advisors has experience of running a business.

We believe that our proposition in respect of Sage is unique in the marketplace. We understand the accountancy principles and requirements. We have been trained by Sage and achieved full accreditation in respect of the products we deal with. We have all used the Sage products on a day to day basis. But where we really differ is that we are always looking to achieve the maximum business benefit for our clients.

We take the view that managing the finances of a company is not just about how much money you have in the bank right now. Equally it’s not about producing a huge number of voluminous reports, with so much data it makes it impossible to see the wood for the trees.

We believe it requires accurate, up to date and relevant information, which assists you in making financial, commercial and strategic decisions.

In respect of Sage we offer a range of products and services, including:
  • Assistance in choosing the package that’s right for you
  • Installation, set up and customisation
  • Training across a range of packages
  • Training on Microsoft Office software, including integration with Sage packages
  • Customising outputs from the system, such as invoices, delivery notes, statements, remittance advices to reflect your company brand
  • Customising reports to provide you with relevant information
  • Using Sage, together with Microsoft Excel to develop accurate and relevant Management Information to give you the information not just data
  • Assistance with preparing financial forecasts, and monitoring results against them
  • Ongoing review and support if you need it
We do not provide classroom-based training. We work with you on a one-to-one or one-to-two basis, at your premises, and provide training which is completely tailored to your needs and those of your business.

And if you’re not quite ready to take the step just yet we also offer a bookkeeping service. We utilise Sage software to look after your accounts and/or payroll. Then if you decide to introduce the software yourself at a later stage, the process becomes much less stressful.
